Description

Feoffment and confirmation by William Knight, Barrells Green, Wootton Wawen, gent and John Cowper the elder of Ullenhall, yeoman (surviving feoffees under an indenture dated 19 May 1596, recited) to Sir Charles Smythe, John Archer, son and heir of Sir Simon Archer, John Fuleood, gent, John Court, gent; John Knight, son heir apparent of William Knight, Robert addams, Thomas Lea, William Dale and Thomas Smythe son and heir apparent of Sir William Smythe, tanner, of messuages, lands and premises in Ullenhall (specified) as further feoffees (all but named of original being deceased) to the intent that the profits be used for the repair of the hcapel of Ullenhall, the rleief of the poor of the parish and the maintenance of hte highways.
