Gift with warranty from Henry Archer son of Thomas Archer of Toneworth' to Richard Newenham of Warrewyk' and Julian his wife of two tenements in the borough of Warr in the street called Retherchepyng' between the tenement of John Weston' in the occupation of the said Richard Newenham on the one hand and the street called Retherchepyng' on the other hand in breadth and extending in length from the market place to the land of Geoffrey Ive of Henley, according to its metes and bounds, one of which tenements formerly belonged to William Benet and the other to John Claredon' and both of which the said Henry held by the gift and feoffment of John Brome of Warrewyk' [see DR37/1/2750-2751]; to hold for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. Dated at Warrewyk Monday after the feast of the Conversion of St. Paul 1 Henry V. Witnesses: John Rody, Thomas Rody, John Bole, John Fyssher, John Tynker of Warrewyk' and others.
