Gift with warranty from Robert Gyscote of Henley in Ardern' and Isabella his wife to John Porey of the same of a messuage with a garden adjacent to the same lying in the vill of Henley between the land formerly of the Blessed Mary on the one hand and the tenement formerly in the tenure of John Hampslap' on the other hand in breadth and extending in length from the boundary of the said town to the land formerly of Thomas Kockes which messuage and garden the said Robert and Isabella held by the concession of John Mayell' of Stretford' and Alice his wife; to hold for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. Dated at Henley Tuesday after the feast of All Saints 33 Henry VI. Witnesses: Nicholas Goodman, then capital bailiff of Henley, William Wheler of the same, John Hereford of the same, William Kockes of the same, John Kyndford of the same and many others. 1.
