Inspeximus of legal proceedings from Hilary Term 18 Elizabeth to Michaelmas Term 18 Elizabeth [1576] reciting a bill of complaint brought by Robert Fisshewike through John Wem' his attorney, Hilary Term 1576, against Robert Grene on a charge of ejecting the said Robert Fisshewike from property which the said Robert held by a lease dated 16 December 18 Elizabeth [1575], recited, from Andrew Archer esquire, the said property being a messuage, water-mill and windmill with 20 acres of pasture called the Webb' feild' and one close called the Crokefeild' containing 40 acres in Wotton' Wawen', to hold from Michaelmas 1575 for 5 years; the alleged offence by Robert Grene is said to have taken place 27 December [1575] and the said Robert Grene answered the said charge Easter [1576]; a jury was appointed Michaelmas [1576] and the charge against Robert Grene dismissed.
