Bond from Katherine Whatelie of Heanley in Ardena widow, Richard Fullwood of the same yeoman, Thomas Parsons of the same husbandman and William Whatelie of the same shoemaker to Andrew Archer of Tanworth esquire in the penal sum of £30, reciting DR37/1/2026, to secure peaceful possession of the property described in the same to the said Andrew, for which the said Andrew has paid £10, after 'long intreaty' of Thomas Spencer and others, arbitrators of a dispute arising from the will of William Whatelie the elder of Heanley in Arden from whom the said Andrew purchased the said property, the said William having left £36 as money unpaid by the said Andrew and had already agreed by the said conveyance to leave £30 with the said Andrew for the benefit of the said William Whatelie shoemaker and Philippa his sister which he did not do.
