Gift from Thomas de Rodbourne to Richard de Stonlegh' of all the lands and tenements which the grantor held in the vill and fields of Farneborugh' by the gift and feoffment of Thomas Rouen; to hold for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. Dated at Farneborugh' Monday on the feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Mary, 10 Edward III. Witnesses: Sir John de Ralegh', Sir Robert de Berford', Sir Robert de Compton', Walter le Honurable, William Giffard and others. Oval seal of red wax on tag, 3/4 x 1/2 in., within a cusped decorated border, a lion asleep under a tree. Legend: SIGGILLUM Latin, parchment, 101/4 x 51/4 in.
