Description

Agreement between Thomas de Ralegh' and John Eskehed', made before Walter [de Baldocke], Prior of Lounde [Leics.], relating to the said John's share of a messuage and garden in Farnburgh', granted to the said John by the said Thomas, which the said Thomas had recovered by a writ of assize against the said John, whereby the said John was to hold the same for 5 years, providing the said Thomas with 11 wagon loads of hay, 3 the first year and 2 each year following; they agreed to settle disputes; and if the said John wished to occupy a house called Shepehous and a room adjoining the end of the said house, the said John would be responsible for repairing the said house and room but if not he was to give notice to the said Thomas so that he might be able to repair the same at a convenient time for his own use.
