Anonymous pamphlet, published in Birmingham entitled 'A directory of the public property belonging to the burgesses of the borough of Stratford-on-Avon, containing the history and mystery of the corporation property, shewing the inhabitants what properly belongs to them, who has the possession of it, and how much it produces annually into the "borough fund" .. ' In three sections, it lists property belonging to the Borough of Stratford, by street, and provides details of the terms under which it is held by various tenants; Another section outlines the origins of this property in the Guild of the Holy Cross and College attached to Holy Trinity Church, which were dissolved at hte Reofrmation.
