She hopes that he has met up with Pem and that this will mean a speedier return of both of them to their parents. Speaks of the seasonable and stormy weather. Father has been supeonered on Mr Benham's account in Hertfordshire so visited Jean and Mr Sutton in Little Berkhampstead. Young Bourchier has made his appearance in Hertfordashire.News of Daniel Howard's intention to move to Australia. It will soon be time for them to leave this place, Father will reach the vicarage on the 12th and the rest shortly after. Speaks of the twins and their activities. Has dined at Dr Jefferson's. She hopes that he is enjoying the climate in Australia. Looking for a letter from him, his last dated Sept 5th.
