Chesterton: early deeds

Description

Feoffment by Geoffrey Fraunceys of Chesterton and Margaret his wife, to Richard, son of Richard de Sowe, of all those lands and tenements in Chesterton, which they hold by gift and feoffment from Sir John de Segane senior and which John de Broke formerly held. To hold of the chief lord of the fee for services due and accustomed, and paying to the said lord of Segane, two silver marks at the two usual terms. In addition the said Richard owes suit of court at Kington at Easter.
