Chesterton: early deeds

Description

Release with warranty by John de Leye [Leigh] to his brother Thomas Leigh, for term of his life, of all his rights in two messuages, 5o acres of land, meadow and pasture in two virgates appurtenant in Kington, which he holds by grant of Henry de Ladbroke and Margaret his wife; also a messuage with sixteen acres and one rood in Kington which were John Jacobs. Paying annually for the same six shillings and eight pence. Witnesses: Sir Nicholas de Gudeford; Nicholas de Warwick; John Huet; John Chaplain; William Ward of Kington.
