Description

From Arthur Hodgson, Clopton to Frank Hodgson He has written a long letter to Mrs M:Bean introducing Frank and on other matters. Pinch is much better and stuck to him yesterday, perhaps he misses Frank. He speaks of the shooting and the company at dinner following. He met Frank's friend Bucknell on the Parade. Uncle Frank, Percy, Emily and Lily went to the Mordaunt Bernard's on thursday. He names those who attended. Hewitt's horses are expected to arrive this morning. He says that it would probably be better if Frank exchanged 'Father' for 'Papa' when addressing him. He says that Frank will enjoy his visit to Rome and that he quite envies him. Invitations are out for a dance on the 23 and he is astonished to see that it is intended to dance in the dining room.
