Hodgson of Clopton House: Correspondence and diary notes

Description

From Edward Hodgson, Eton Vale, Cambooya, Australia to Rev. F H Hodgson, Abbots Langley Vicarage, King's Langley, Herts He hopes that Frank is happily ensconced in his new home but has addressed the letters to his old one. He is thinking about him as he will be moving from the home where he has had many happy and unhappy days. He will be missed by his parishioners. He hopes that the changes he is making will lead to his happiness and that of his little ones. Father will no doubt tell him about the division of this property. They made things as equal as possible and drew lots for the choice. He goes on to describe the division. The drought in the West is very intense.
