Description

Gift from John le Spencer of Kenilleworth' to John son of John Bosse of Kenilleworth' and Agnes, daughter of John Halwey, wife of the said John of a messuage with adjacent curtilage in Kenilleworth' which the grantor held by the gift and feoffment of the said Agnes, the said messuage lying between the tenement of William Chauntour on the one hand and the tenement of Roger Pacwode on the other in breadth and extending from the highway leading from le Causey as far as the croft of Nicholas Forcer and John Geldesone in length, according to its boundaries; to hold to the said John and Agnes and their lawful issue for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service, and in default of such issue to pass to the said John, his heirs and assignes. Dated at Kenilleworth' Monday after the feast of St. Thomas the Archbishop. Witnesses: William Parker, Richard Wyndesore, Roger Pacwode, William Felice, John Janyns, Thomas Neldere, John Bosse and others.
