Nuthurst

Description

Grant by Richard de Monteford to William Aleyn and Matilda his wife and their heirs, of three pieces of arable land in Nuthurst lying on the boundary of the field called Lynchurst and a croft in Beaudesert called le bachecroft. Also grants that all the land which William and Matilda hold of him in Nuthurst and which should revert to Richard after their deaths, shall remain to them and their heirs in perpetuity to be held of the chief lord for accustomed services. Witnesses: Thomas Archer, Hugh de Brancheston, Walter de Hereford, Richard le Cornefer, John atte Lee. Dated at Nuthurst, Sunday after the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, 34 Edward III.
