Lease from John Bellers of Henley-in-Arden yeoman to Thomas Cowper of the same tanner for £10 of a tenement, garden and backside, late in the tenure of John Baker, and a close called Anthonies lands in Bewdeserte and also 'two daies earth' of arable land lying in Penyford field in the lordship of Bewdeserte between the highway on the one hand and a piece of ground called Frog meere on the other with one butt of arable land lying in the Windmill field there, butting upon Zine meadow cornill' within the lordship of Bewdeserte with all 'loppinges and shreddinges' excepting 'croppinges' belonging to the said tenement; to hold from Michaelmas last for 21 years, rendering annually 50s. [2 terms]; the said John to have the right of distraint for non-payment or arrears of the said rent 14 days beyond any of the said terms or right of re-entry if sufficient distress were not found; the said Thomas to pay all chief rents and other dues on the said property and to repair the said property when necessary at his own cost when necessary and deliver it up at the end of the said term.
