Description

Settlement dated 22nd January 1612/1613 whereby Edward Willies of Kingsnorton Worcs Yoeman convenanted to the aforesaid of a messuage in Henley Street with all appurtenances 'called the Belle' theretofore used in two tenements then in the occupation of Robert Brookes between the tenements of Thomas Hornebye on the east part and a tenement late William Shakespeare on the west part, and street aforesaid on the south part and the kings highewaye call the Gilpittes on the north part to the use of Edward Willies of Hornworthe Staffs nailor and Mary his wife the heirs of his body and in default of such issue to the use of Thomas Willies of Hornsworth aforesaid (brother of the said Edward Willyes, which said Edward Willyes and Thomas Willies of Hornsworthe were 'coosens' of the granter Edward Willies of Kingsnorton) and the heirs of his body and indefault of such issue to the right heirs of the granter Edward Willies of Kingsnorton.
