Minutes of the proceedings of the Trustees acting under a deed of gift by John Shakespeare Esquire of Langley Priory Leicestershire upon Trust for the restoration and preservation of Shakespeare's Birthplace 2nd August 1856-19th April 1858. With balance sheets 1856. 1861 Solicitors surveyors and other bills and various loose papers, accounts of estimates including:- a Copy of the Report of E.M. Barry architect 29th June 1857. Tender and contract for repairs and restoration by Will Holtom builder 18 August P.21, Sept. 1857 P.23 March 1858 Plans of proposed alterations of Custodians House 17 April 1862. The report upon the condition of Shakespeare's Birthplace and estimates for repair thereof together with two letters dated the 14th July 1857 and 2nd August 1857 from Mr. J. P. Collier concerning the repair of the property. Also a letter from Mr. George Jabet dated the 26th June 1861 concerning the garden of Shakespeare's House.
