Description

Conveyance between Thomas Thomson of Leamington Priors Doctor of Medicine, William Oakes Hunt Gent, Edward Fordham Flower Esquire both of Stratford upon Avon of 1st part, the said Thomas Thomson and John Payne Collier of Maidenhead Esquire. Of 2nd part and the Mayor Aldermen and Burgesses of the Borough of Stratford upon Avon of the 3rd part Reciting 72(78), 48(50),93(109),160(255),167(111)and 188(113) whereby the several properties described in Schedules thereto and delineated on a plan thereto were conveyed to Thomas Thomson Wm. O. Hunt, David Rice and Edward F. Flower with the exception of the Swan and Maidenhead and the adjoining house which by No48(50) were conveyed to Viscount Morpeth, Thomas Amyoth, Thos. Thomson and John Payne Collier. It was thereby witnessed that Thomas Thomson, W. O. Hunt and Edward Fordham Flower conveyed to the said Mayor Aldermen and Burgess all the said property except that mentioned in No 48(50) (i.e. The Birthplace) and the said Thomas Thomson and John Payne Collier conveyed to the said Mayor Aldermen and Burgesses the property mentioned in No 50. In Trust to permit the Lord Lieutenant of the County and the High Steward of Stratford upon Avon, the said Mayor Aldermen and Burgesses and others to have control of the said premises.
