Photographic postcard showing a deep hole at an excavation site in Mr J Parsons garden . The handwritten manuscript on the back of the postcard states that this is a Roman concrete floor 4 feet deep. Mr J Parsons garden, Meeting Lane, Alcester with wall below about 2 feet deep. Mr G Smith Landlord. Excavated October and November 1927.
