Photographic postcard showing a deep hole at an excavation site in Mr J Parsons garden, Meeting Lane, Alcester. Handwritten manuscript states this is a Roman concrete floor 4 feet deep* with wall below about 2 feet deep. Mr G Smith Landlord. Excavated October and November 1927. *the word deep has been altered in blue pen.
