Henry IV Part I

Description

Score, composed by Guy Woolfenden, for Lady Mortimer's 'Welsh Song' from the Royal Shakespeare Company's (RSC) 1964 production of William Shakespeare's play 'Henry IV Part 1'.

This folder includes notes on Welsh verse and instructions how the song should be sung. It also includes an undated letter from Alan Clayton, Woolfenden's brother-in-law, regarding Welsh verse, and a score that appears to be dated '1975', which suggests that some of the material in this folder was used or referred to for the RSC's 1975-76 production of 'Henry IV Part 1', for which Woolfenden also composed the music.
