Description

Photocopy of the 'Ranges and Properties of Certaine Earlie Winde Instruments' [c.1967], written by Guy Woolfenden and David Munrow on music manuscript paper. This envelope also includes a photocopy of a brief, handwritten biography of Munrow, a photocopy of an article written by Munrow for 'Recorder & Music Magazine' (March 1969) entitled 'Is it authentic?', and a photocopy of 'On the Classification of Musical Instruments' [?1971x1983] by Emanuel Winternitz, curator of musical instruments at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
