Description

Certificate of two of the land-tax commissioners that they had contracted with Robert Knight of Barrels esq. for the redemption by him of £12.16s.2d. land tax charged on (1) Farmhouse and c. 89 acres of land in Henley-in-Arden in the parish of Wootton Wawen, theretofore the property of Mrs. [blank] Baker, Thomas Handy and others and then in the occupation of James Thomas; (2) Farmhouse and c. 86 acres of land called the Heath in Ullenhall in Wootton Wawen then in the occupation of Francis Heming, late the property of John Burman esq. and formerly in the occupation of Joseph Court; (3) Public house and premises in Ullenhall then in the occupation of Mary Greaves; (4) Messuage then divided into two tenements with the perry mill orchard and c. 3 acres of land in Ullenhall, formerly the property of Mr. Pitts, late in the occupation of Joseph Ward and then of said Joseph Ward and Elizabeth Moore; (5) Messuage then lately divided into two tenements with garden and c. 4 acres of land in Ullenhall in the occupation of Joseph Heming, formerly property of Mrs. Chamberlain and in the occupation of Isaac Bolton. With certificate of two of the commissioners of land-tax for the Hundred of Barlichway as to the amounts charged, dated 26 March 1813, attached; also certificate of registration in the Land-tax Register-Office, no. 106,102, dated 17 April 1813.
