Description

Indenture of a fine levied in the court of the Abbot of Stonleye on Thursday next after St. Gregory, 19 Richard II, before William de Offechirche, John Brewes and John Turvylle, bailiffs of the Abbot, between William Stokton' and Alice his wife, plaintiffs, and Robert Burdet and Joan his wife, deforciants, of three messuages, two tofts, sixty-five acres of land and appurtenances in Hulle in the manor of Stonleye. The said Robert and Joan recognised the said property to be the right of the said William and Alice; and for this they gave 20 marks.
