Gift from John Mayell' of Warrewyk' the elder and Alice his wife to John Baxster chaplain, John Walker chaplain and John Mayell the younger of lands, tenements, rents, services with meadows, woods, pastures, feedings with appurtenances called Mayhewys in Baddisley. Also lands and appurtenances formerly belonging to Richard Baxster in Warr' and in Hampton Curly, and lands in Hampton Curly formerly belonging to John Tynker. To hold the same for ever from the chief lords of these fees for due and customary services. Warranty clause. Sealing clause. Witnesses: Nicholas Rody, Bailiff of Warr'; Geoffrey Rous; John Chapman; William Hopkyns; John Fissher; William Tayllour and many others. Given at Warr' 16 June 26 Henry VI [1448]. Seals: 1.
