Counterpart of indenture of mortgage between Sir Thomas Spencer of Yarnton, co. Oxford, baronet and John Butler of Begbrooke, same county, esquire of the one part and Dame Elizabeth Gould of London, widow, of the other part whereby, in consideration of £100 paid to Sir Thomas Spencer and £900 to John Butler, these gentleman demised to Dame Elizabeth for a term of 99 years at a peppercorn rent the Manor of Packwood, co. Warwick, Packwood Parke (now disparked) and the impropriate Rectory or Parsonage of Packwood with all tythes and other emoluments, repayment of principal and interest to be made by Sir Thomas Spencer to Dame Elizabeth at her dwelling house in Throckmorton Street, London, in the manner specified.
