The Answer of John Archer to the title of John Beaufoo, Richard Cooter and Elizabeth Garnet to certain lands called Kynton land: Their title is insufficient because lands in question were held by Roger Swynford by virtue of a lease made by Thomas Archer, esq., to John Swynford, father of Roger, and Alice his wife, the term of which has expired and the rights returned to John Archer.
