Typescript reminiscences (30 August 1989) of Stratford-upon-Avon during World War II by William Robert Batchelor.

Mr Batchelor describes experiences as an electrician during the period 1939 - 1945, initially with N.W. Dixon, later with the Shropshire, Worcestershire and Staffordshire Electric Power Company (S.W.S.). He references a number of industrial operations in Stratford.

William Robert Batchelor was born in Stratford-upon-Avon on 14th March 1919. He lived all of his life in Stratford and married Winifred Clare Wise. William died in Stratford-upon-Avon on 27th January 2006.
