Description
Receipt from William Greene of Little Alne, yeoman to Andrew Archer of Tanworth, esq. in the now dwellinge howse of one Thomas Wheler in Henley in Arden for £100 due upon an indenture of defeasance dated 30 June 1596 in discharge of a Statute Staple of the same dated whereby Archer stood bound to Greene in £400. Signed; seal applied through paper. Witnesses: Nicholas Throckmorton, Thomas Warner, scribe, Robert Cooke, John Parker
