Jonathan Langley esq. to the Hon. the president and council of Barbados Petition. After the death of Col. Francis Russell about £1,200 in money and about £1,500 worth of plate was carried away by a guard and is detained upon frivolous pretences by William Rawlins so that the petitioner, as administrator, has never been put into possession of it so as to be able to pay any of his late Excellency's debts of above £3,000 out of it. He prays that the aforesaid may be put into his custody so that he may do right to his late Excellency's estate, creditors and servants.
