Papers from the effects of Mrs Kathleen Higgins (nee Ballard), of Stratford-upon-Avon, born 1905, whose husband, John C. Higgins, was manager of the Shakespeare Hotel until 1939. Includes ephemera relating to the Shakespeare Hotel and Stratford-upon-Avon, and personal correspondence with her step-daughter, Elizabeth Hodierne, who emigrated to Salisbury, Rhodesia [later Harare, Zimbabwe] in 1957. With a few earlier 'In Memoriam' cards.
