Marie Corelli

Description

Letter from Marie Corelli, 47 Longbridge Road, Earl's Court, London, to 'My dear Mrs Lane', regretting that 'Dr Lane's indisposition' had prevented him from reading Ardath (now on the verge of a second edition), and discussing a piano concert by Sarasate which they had attended recently: she had left with, amongst others, Otto Goldschmidt (1829-1907), 'Sarasate's friend', and William Gerorge Cusins (1833-93), 'the conductor of the Orchestra'.
