Description

Assignment by Richard Smith, of Stratford upon Avon, gent., Samuel Cooper of Stratford, flaxdresser, and Ursula his wife, widow of Michael Dyde, baker, and William Paine of Stratford, stone-cutter, and Jane, his wife, only child of the said Michael and Ursula, to Thomas Taylor, of Stratford, joiner, in trust for the said Richard Smith, of a plot of ground, etc. in Wood Street, leased 25 March 1779, by John Frederick [Sackville] Duke of Dorset, to Richard Smith (in trust for the above Ursula and Jane) for the lives of John Evetts, baker, then aged 29, the said Ursula, then aged 49, and the said Jane, then aged 16; the assignment being made with consent of Charles Henry Hunt, agent to the Duke of Dorset.
