Description
Lease from the Mayor, Aldermen and Burgesses of Stratford-upon-Avon to Thomas Bloxham of Aston-sub-Edge, co. Glouc., gent., of a messuage, backside or close and 'two yardland' of arable meadow in Shottery, in the tenure of John Barber for 50 years for a yearly rent of 20 shillings and a couple of capons and a fine of £200. Witnesses: Thomas Ainge and Thomas Woolmer.
