Lease: Church Street, Stratford-upon-Avon

Description

Lease dated 6 January 1689/90 (Old style) [1690] for a year from John Woolmer the elder of Stratford-upon-Avon, gent., to Richard Halford, citizen and salter of London, of a close in Stratford 'in the nether end of the Church Streete' with a barn thereon built by Thomas Taylor, baker, the same having formerly been in the tenure of the said Thomas Taylor and being now in the tenure of George Hurst and Anthony Bell. Witnesses: Benjamin Woolmer, Robert Potter and William Halford.
