Covenant by Anne Hickes of Shipston-upon-Stour, widow, and Henry Hickes of the same, gent., her son (for the barring of an entail upon the said Henry) to suffer a recovery to John Crispe of Chipping Norton, co. Oxon., gent., and Edmund Mason of Halford, gent., of two and a quarter yardlands, with closes, a barn, etc., in Bishopton and meadowing etc. in Shottery, Welcombe, and Hampton, heretofore the land of one Rogers and purchased of Mr. Nicholas and John Lane by Henry Smith, late of Stratford upon-Avon, gent., father of the said Anne, and now being in the tenure of Robert Howes; the same to enure to the use of Anne Hickes for life, with remainder to Henry Hickes, his heirs and assigns.
