Description

Lease dated 6 May 2 Edward VI [1548], from William Clopton of Clopton, `squyer' to Humfrey Plemley of Stratford-upon-Avon, mercer, of a `lesewe', late in the tenure of Thomas Trentham, for 12 years, at the yearly rent of 26 sh. 8d. and a `coppell of good capons'. Seal attached but impression obliterated. Endorsed: `Humfrey Plymleys lese for a lessewe in Ingon'.
