Lease dated 31 May 35 Elizabeth [1593], from Sir George Carew of the Mynories, co. Middx., Knt., and the Lady Joyce his wife to Richard Woodward of Stratford-upon-Avon, gent., of land called Bells peece and Rye peece in the manor of Bridgetowne, for 11 years at a rent of £17. Witnesses: John Jeffereys, Thomas Rogers and William Pyrrye.
