Deed of Sale dated 8 August 5 James I [1607], by Michael Lee of Attleborough in the parish of Nonneaton [Nuneaton], yeoman, to Thomas Shackespeare of Little Packington, yeoman, for £44 of a cottage in Market Street, Nonneaton, with the backside of the same, 'shooting uppon the Ryver of Anckor' now or late in the tenure of William Millner, butcher, with covenants for warranty by himself, Elizabeth his wife and Marmaduke Lee his son. Counterpart, with mark of Thomas Shaxpeare. Witnesses: Thomas Shackspare, William Millner, Edward Launder, Thomas Saunders, mercer, Thomas Crosse and Clement Cradocke.
