Lease: Ingon, Old Stratford and Shottery

Description

Release dated 11 January, 6 Elizabeth [1564], by William Bott of Stratford-upon-Avon to William Clopton of Clopton, esq., of three pastures called the Nether Ingon, Leysewse and Shrubbes, a meadow called Synder meadow in Ingon, alias Ington in Bysshopshampton, a windmill, four yards of arable land and 29 leys in the fields of Old Stratford and a meadow in Shottery meadow now or late in the occupation of John Combes, all which he had by bargain and sale from the said William Clopton.
