Lease: Bishopton, Old Stratford and Welcombe


Lease by Jackson Morrell of Atherston, yeoman, to Edward Canning of Upper Eatington [Ettington], butcher, of lands in the fields of Old Stratford, Bishopton and Welcombe now or late in the tenure of Joseph Phillips and formerly in the tenure of Richard Peacock, amounting to half a yardland for 200 years, by way of mortgage to secure the payment of £53 by 3 May 1671. Witnesses: William Gibson, Charles Morrell, William Hands, Thomas Smith and John Canning. Acquittance dated 2 May 1670 from Jackson Morrell to Edward Caninge for £50 attached.
