Assignment of Mortgage: Henley Street, Stratford-upon-Avon

Description

Assignment dated 9 February 1689/90 (Old style) [1690] by Thomas Sowtham of Welcombe, woolman, (in consideration of a marriage already had with Anne, daughter of Henry Yearwood, late of Warwick, and of £100 paid by Katherine Yearwood her mother as a marriage portion) to William Challoner of Stratford-upon-Avon, gent., and Edmund Perkes of Lincoln's Inn, gent., of the Mortgage of a messuage in Henly Street, Stratford, as in ER3/366, to hold the same in trust for himself for life, and on his death in trust for the said Anne his wife for life, with remainder to the heirs of their bodies.
