Lease dated 15 March 1671/2 (Old style) [1672] by Jackson Morrell to Edward Caninge of lands in the fields of Old Stratford, Bishopton and Welcombe, now in the tenure of John Careless and formerly in the tenure of Richard Ashfeild, amounting to half a yard land, for 200 years, by way of mortgage to secure the payment of £53 by 16 March 1672/3 (Old style) [1673]. Witnesses: William Gibson, John Underhill, John Canning and Robert Dickins. Attached: Acquitance from Jackson Morrell to Edward Caninge for £50; and bond in £100 to perform covenants.
