Description
Lease dated 5 January 1675/6 (Old style) [1676] from Sir John Clopton to John Foorth of Hackney, co. Middx., esq., and Thomas Taylor of Worcester, scrivener, of the two messuages etc. in Bridgetowne, as in ER3/352, together with a yard adjoining to Stratford Bridge or near the Bridgefoot late in the occupation of John Woolmer, gent and the sluice at the lower end of Bridgetowne meadow for 21 years at a yearly rent of £30. Witnesses: Thomas Rawlins, John Woolmer, junior, Richard Smith and Edmund Rawlins.
