Probate of Will: Brownsover and Brailes
Description
Probate of the Will dated 9 January 1722, of William Howkins of Brownsover, gent., whereby he devised to his wife Martha and her heirs for ever his two yard lands in the common fields of Brailes and also all the residue of his personal estate and appointed the said Martha his sole executrix. Witnesses: Susanna Capell, Bridget Chadbourne, James Chadbourne and Thomas Richardson. Proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, 17 January 1735.
