Affidavit of Thomas Scrivener of Banbury, gent. that he knew James Golby of Banbury, solicitor, deceased, for 33 years previous to his decease in 1818 and that the said J. Golby, had but one child, James Wake Golby, who died in January 1842 leaving Ann Golby, then residing in Banbury, his surviving sister.
