Mortgage dated 28 December 1759, from Joseph Townsend of Honington Hall to William Meads of Ingon, yeoman, for £600, of a messuage etc. in the parish of Stretton-on-Fosse called Porto Bello Farm, for a term of 500 years, subject to a proviso for redemption upon repayment of £600. Witnesses: William Hunt and Samuel Wimbush. Endorsed with a receipt, dated 16 June 1762, for £200 by William Bradford, executor of William Meades, witnessed by William Hunt and William Walford.
