Quitclaim from Margaret Wawnewryght of Stratford, widow, to John Brygth of Milcote, servant to Master Greweld, of the same, knight [Sir John Grevill, bart.], of all her right in one half burgage in Stratford aforesaid in Dedelane [Chapel Lane] between a tenement of the Abbot of Reading and a tenement of the Prioress of Pinley. Witnesses: Roger Pagette, capital bailiff of Stratford, John Clopton, with the same Roger Pagette, constables of the same town, Richard Stow and Thomas Cowper, sub-bailiffs and Master Robert Fox. Dated at Stratford, Monday before St. Barnabas the Apostle, 19 Edward IV [1479]. Seal of red wax, damaged; a merchant's mark.
