Covenant to Levy a Fine: Stretton-on-the-Fosse

Description

Indenture between Raphe Sheldon of Beoly, co. Worcs., esq., George Sheldon of Astwood, co. Worcs., esq. (brother of the said Raphe Sheldon) and Frances his wife, of the one part, and William Baldwin of Nether Eatington, gent., of the other part, whereby Raphe Sheldon and George Sheldon and Frances his wife, in consideration of £570 paid to Raphe and George Sheldon by William Baldwin, covenanted to levy a fine of a close called Rough Leasow containing about 100 acres in the parish of Stretton-on-Fosse, then in the occupation of William Baldwin, to enure to the use of William Baldwin and his heirs for ever. Witnesses: George Page, John Vincent, Richard Perkins, Thomas Maunder, Edward Sheldon, Edward Griffin and John Crisp.
